  • Garden Supervisor

We are looking for a mature person with gardening experience, willing to work with people with learning difficulties, to grow plants and vegetables in our extensive raised beds and large polytunnel.

  • Weekend animal feeders

We are looking for people to feed our 54 animals, ranging from horses to guinea pigs. The requirements are for weekend sessions, twice daily, around 7.30am and 3.30pm. (Sessions take around 1.25 hrs) available to suit your arrangements. Must have previous experience with horses.   • Monitoring and Evaluation

We are looking for someone to help with the monitoring and evaluation of what we do. The hours are flexible. About 4hours per week. Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to compile short reports, and enjoy working with people who have learning disabilities. Some of the work may be done from home. Winter News

- A great time was had by all at our annual client Christmas party. Click here and scroll down to events for pictures. A huge thank you to Sales Force who made the day better than ever!

- The Horses had a well deserved break over Christmas and went on a little holiday. They are now back all happy and refreshed apart from trooper who is taking an extended holiday (Lucky fellow!). His temporary replacement is Eric, who much like trooper is a kind and gentle lad.

- Jillie our lovely new donkey is expecting a baby! She is due to give birth around March/April time and we are all very excited at the prospect of a cute baby donkey.

Meet our new farm friends!

Jeffery – A 6 month old domestic goose, was was given to us as the owner could not longer keep him. He is a cheeky noisy chap, who has taken over as the boss of the coop.

Peppa – A 6 month old saddleback pig – arrived 27th october an unwanted pet, she is always on the go and wants to be friends with everyone and everything.

• Meet Jilly, our beautiful new Donkey!

 

• Raffle tickets are now on sale for our Grand Prize Draw!! The winning numbers will be read out at our annual open day on Saturday the 3rd of September 2011.

• We have some little visitors at the farm, 4 miniature horses! The little horses will be staying at the farm for a few weeks so don’t delay come and see them today!

• The weather has done our veg garden good and we have lots of lovely produce ready.
